Soil Sisters Plant Nursery, founded by sisters Raynise and TaRay Kelly, is Pittsburgh’s only Black- and woman-owned boutique plant nursery and urban farm. Located in Allentown near Beltzhoover, they provide a thoughtfully curated selection of indoor plants, heirloom seedlings, and fresh produce—all grown with sustainable practices and intense care.

Their mission focuses on food justice and closing the gap in food access by equipping communities with homegrown produce and knowledge, combating food apartheid through fresh, locally-adapted seedlings.
